Hillsborough County, Manager Industry Strategic Initiatives and Historic Preservation
This is a highly responsible, independent professional position focused on policy development and activities related to industry strategic initiatives and historic preservation.
The position is responsible for managing the Historic Preservation Challenge Grant Program including, application intake and review, provide liaison and staff support for the Historic Preservation Review Committee, draft agreements and agenda’s for BOCC approval and administer agreements and projects to completion.
Additionally, this position is responsible for outreach and provides lead responsibility for administration and operation of other initiatives and programs as assigned. The principal duties of the position include project management; problem resolution; and development, and implementation of recommendations for strategies to support historic preservation and other industry initiatives.
A high level of skill and experience is necessary in managing large stakeholder groups towards a strategic vision and action plan implementation.
