This award is given by The Florida High Tech Corridor in recognition of the achievements of an outstanding young innovator. Recipients receive a scholarship of up to $5,000 to be applied towards coursework and fees associated with achieving the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation.
- Current member in good standing of the Florida Economic Development Council.
- A minimum of two consecutive years in an economic development position in Florida.
- Currently employed in an economic development position in Florida.
Applications should include the entry form, biography, and a photograph, as well as a letter of recommendation from the highest ranking official of the organization in which the applicant works. The judges may request additional information from the applying party as required.
The Dan Webster Young Innovator Scholarship Award will be selected from statewide applications.
The recipient will be recognized at an FEDC Luncheon during the annual conference.
